Jammu boy creates website to combat COVID-19

JAMMU, Apr 13: Jammu lad Onkar Singh, a student of Class 10th from BSF Sr Sec School, Jammu, has created a website for public of the district Jammu to combat with Corona virus in an online way.
The website- www.covidcarejammu.in provides many features for the users to connect with doctors, self assessments, precautions, information guides etc to learn about Covid-19. The website also provides latest updates on Corona virus in the UT as well as in the country. The website enables the users to live chat with a doctor and consult about the disease. It also provides a risk assessment test through which one can easily check his/her risk of being infected. Also, one can report about himself or someone else, who seems to be infected. The website tagline is ‘Combat COVID-19 with smile’ which produces positive vibes and connects the users with the application.
The website is a non-profit and has partnered with volunteer doctors -namely Dr Sanjogita Soodan and Dr Sourabh Katoch from Govt Medical College, Jammu to provide medical facilities and online live chat services. Moreover, Infobug is the media partner for Covid Care Jammu The website is available in English only, but soon the Hindi version would be launched.
