International Daily Rising School holds programme

JAMMU, June 6: International Daily Rising School organised a series of workshops aimed at strengthening teaching-learning practices, professional development and student well-being. The initiative brought together educators and experts in a collaborative environment focused on innovation, reflection and skill enhancement.
The workshops covered diverse themes, including learning outcomes and pedagogical approaches, stress management and emotional well-being, language proficiency in classroom practices and competency-based education in line with current educational reforms.
Dr Atul Hans conducted a session on recent trends in the CBSE curriculum and happy classrooms, highlighting the need for joyful, engaging and stress-free learning environments that support both academic growth and student well-being. Pooja Sharma led a session on AI in classrooms, campus language and school ethics, focusing on the integration of artificial intelligence in education and the importance of ethical values and effective communication.
Rajeev Sharma addressed disaster management, sensitising participants towards preparedness and safety protocols. Dr Meenu Gupta conducted a session on mental health and hygiene, emphasising emotional well-being and stress management. CS Nitin Gupta spoke on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, creating awareness about workplace safety and institutional responsibility.
Ashish Anand delivered a session on adolescence education, helping educators understand adolescent behaviour and developmental needs. Monika Kumari discussed learning outcomes and pedagogies, focusing on competency-based education and measurable learning achievements.
The concluding session, titled “Beyond Teaching: Strengthening Relationships, Resilience and Team Spirit in Schools,” highlighted the importance of collaboration, resilience and a positive institutional culture.
Supinder Kaur appreciated the initiative and stressed the importance of continuous professional development. Raghav Gupta highlighted the role of such workshops in enhancing institutional practices and quality learning.
