UDHAMPUR, Sept 10: Two days District Level Inter Zonal Cricket Tournament for Under-14 Boys concluded at Sports Stadium, here.
Around 65 boys from different zones of the District participated in the tournament.
Sudesh Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Udhampur was the chief guest on the closing ceremony and distributed the trophies among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports, Jahangir Mir and under the chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu.
In the final match, Zone Jib defeated Zone Ramnagar by 22 runs. Manminder Singh of AOC Hr Sec School (Zone Jib) was declared man of match and man of the series of the tournament respectively..
The matches were officiated by Raj Kumar, Ajit Singh, Raj Kumar, Pushap Kumar, Raj Kumar Dogra, Rakesh and Ajay Koul.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Usha Bhatt ZPEO Chenani, Ram Lal Badyal ZPEO Jib, Satish Kumar ZPEO Ramnagar, Poonam Sharma, Des Raj, Anita Goswami Rakesh Sawhney, Ajay Sharma, Harish Kumar and Karun Magotra.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ajit Singh.
