JAMMU, May 7: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Gandhi Nagar, organised Inter-School Zonal Level Competitions for Under-14 girls in Volleyball, Kabaddi, Chess, Kho-Kho and Yoga for the year 2026-27 at Guru Harkrishan Public School.
The event was held under the chairmanship of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma and overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Gandhi Nagar Harvinder Kour and Principal Rita Poply.
Around 560 girls from various Government and private schools participated with great enthusiasm, zeal and sportsmanship spirit. Field staff members of the department acted as officials to ensure smooth conduct of the competitions.
