JAMMU, May 1: Inter School Zonal Level Competitions in the sports disciplined of Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho for Under-14 and Under-17 boys of Miran Sahib Zone got underway at Govt. High School Kotli Shah Dulla, here today.
In all, 224 boys drawn from Private and Government institutions are taking part in the competitions.
The competitions are being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as part of Annual Calendar of activities..
Earlier, the competitions were declared open by Poonam Kotwal, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Miran Sahib in presence of Sushma Sharma, Headmaster Govt. High School, Kotli Shah Dulla.
In Kabaddi Under-14 boys, J&K Police Public School outplayed GBMS Rattian, while in Kabadi Under-17 boys, GGHS Simbal Camp defeated GHS Kotli Shah Dulla.
In Kho-Kho Under-14 boys, J&K Police Public School, Miran Sahib got better of GHS Bansultan, while in Kho-Kho Under-17 boys,
J&K Police Public School, Miran Sahib trounced GHS Bansultan.
In Volleyball Under-17 boys, Stephin International Public School, Kullian beat APS Miran Sahib.
