JAMMU, Dec 7: Inter-school Sports Spark-2022 was organized at Government Higher Secondary School Gundla (Zone Dansal) under the aegis of Bharti Foundation, here today.
More than 350 students from Govt and Private schools participated in various competitions like Tug of War, Athletics, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Carrom, Badminton and Volleyball and displayed vigour and enthusiasm at the novel sporting event.
Chief Education Officer Jammu, SS Rathore graced the event along with Principal of the host School, Mtr. Naseem Akhter and Project Head Bharti Foundation Anil Bhat.
The trophies and medals were distributed among winners.
The CEO said that the Foundation support has brought incredible positive changes in the Schools and such type of sports events are must for each school for their holistic development. The sports activities are equally important as academic activities.
He congratulated all the staff members for organizing the event and applauded the winners in the competition.
Project Head, Anil Bhat said, “Bharti Foundation partners with Government schools to enhance the schooling experience for all its stakeholders. Such events increase awareness on the importance of co-curricular activities in a child’s holistic development.”
