JAMMU, May 4: KC International School successfully hosted 3rd Inter-School Rope Skipping Championship-2023 in collaboration with Rope Skipping Association of Jammu and Kashmir, here today.
The event was a grand success as more than 150 skippers from 16 different schools of Jammu province participated in it. The event started on May 2 in individual and team competition.
Neelam Khajuria, Addl. Secretary-Youth Services and Sports J&K graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest and Dr. KC Singh Mehta – Principal IDPS, Akhnoor Mentor-Jammu Sahodya School Complex, Anupama Sinha Principal – KCIS, Tarsem Sharma Founder/ CEO – Rope Skipping Association of J&K/ Treasurer- Rope Skipping Federation of India, Sunil Kumar Sawhney Secretary – Rope Skipping J&K and President Rotary Club Jammu and Sonia Pawar Principal – SGSD International School, Jammu were present as special guests.
The championship was conducted under the supervision of Danish Sharma – Technical Director (RSAJK).
Vishwa Bharti School Jammu won the winner trophy of the event, while KC Gurukul School Jammu secured the 2nd position and 3rd position was secured by KC International School Jammu, besides 4th place went to International Delhi Public School, Jammu.
The event ended with felicitation of all the dignitaries, officials and coaches by Anupama Sinha, Principal KCIS.
