JAMMU, Dec 10: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School Jeevan Nagar, organised Inter-School Patriotic Quiz Competition in order to promote patriotism among the youth and to bring them closer to Armed Personnel’s which was conducted by Col. VK Sahai in coordination with “Sainik Welfare Department” in the school premises, here.
The whole programme took place under the supervision of event incharge Sanjeev Goswami, event coordinator Arun sharma along with his team members in the presence of Principal Rameshwar Mengi.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest, Brig Harcharan Singh (Retd.) Director of Sainik Department J&K.
10 schools from Jammu division participated in this competition and appeared for Written Exam (Round 1) and then top five teams were selected for Final Round i.e. “Quiz Competition.”
All participants put in their best to win the competition.
The first position was clinched by Heritage School.
The second position was bagged by Sainik School and the third position went to Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar.
The chief guest Brig. Harcharan Singh (Retd), Col VK Sahai guided the students with the latest informative and valuable words.
