JAMMU, Aug 18: Inter School competitions in the discipline of Fencing, Table Tennis, Judo, Wushu for Under-19 boys got underway here at Indoor complex M.A Stadium.
The tournament is being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports as a part of Annual calendar of sports activates under the supervision of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports and Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu.
In Fencing Under-19 boys, foil, Anish Kumar bagged gold, Tariq Hussain won silver and the bronze was shared by Arun and Danish, while in Epee Under-19 boys, Ravi Sharma and Teja Singh won gold and silver respectively and the bronze was claimed by Shubham and Jatin Sharma.
In Sabre under-19 boys, Vansh Mahajan bagged gold, Tarun Bakshi won silver, while Mohd. Ab. Rafiq clinched bronze.
