JAMMU, Oct 10: The Divisional Level Inter-District Swimming competitions in all age groups of boys concluded at Jodhamal Public School, Channi Himmat, here.
The competitions were organized under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director, Jammu, while Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu was the Organizing Secretary of the competition.
Three districts of Jammu division took part in the competition.
In Under-19 boys freestyle, Dhairya of Jammu District bagged 1st position, while Akul of Jammu District claimed 2nd and Akash of Samba District bagged 3rd place.
In U-19 boys back stroke, Ayush of Jammu won 1st position, Manik of Kathua bagged 2nd and Nikhil of Samba claimed 3rd spot.
In Under-17 boys back stroke: Mujjataba-ul of Jammu 1st; Satynam of Jammu 2nd and Nikhil Singh of Kathua 3rd.
In Under-17 boys Breast Stroke: Shivam of Jammu 1st and Lakshay of Jammu 2nd.
In Under-14 boys free style, Jaivardhan of Jammu 1st , Priyansh of Jammu 2nd and Arun of Samba 3rd.
The matches were officiated by a panel of experts of the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu.
