JAMMU, Oct 4: Inter-district State Level Kho-Kho Tournament for Under -19 girls was declared open at Sports Stadium, Kathua.
Assistant Director, Youth Services and Sports, Jammu, Rupinderjeet Kaur was the chief guest while DYSSO Udhampur, Sukhdev Singh was guest of honour.
In total six teams of both the divisions of the State are taking part in the tournament.
In the 1st match played today, District Kathua team outplayed Reasi team by a margin of an innings and 8 points while in the 2nd match, District Jammu team defeated Samba team by a margin of 24-0 points.
The matches were officiated by Lecturer, Physical Education, Chain Singh, PEMs, Kailash Chander, Ganesh Dutt, Subhash Chander, Abhineesh Sharma, Ashok Sharma and PET, Kewal Krishan.
