JAMMU, Sept 9: Inter District Division Level competition in the discipline of Kho-Kho all age groups boys section got underway at Govt High School Jammu Cantt. Satwari, here today.
The competitions are being organised under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General, Youth Services & Sports J&K, and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu, while Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Jammu is the Organising Secretary of the competitions.
In all, 270 players drawn from 8 districts of Jammu division took part in the competition.
In Kho-Kho Under-14 boys 1st semifinal, District Udhampur beat District Reasi by 1 point, while in Kho-Kho Under-17 boys 1st semifinal, District Udhampur defeated District Reasi by 7 points and 1 turn.
In Kho-Kho Under-19 boys 1st semifinal, District Udhampur drubbed District Rajouri by 1 point.
