JAMMU, Oct 31: Inter District Divisional Level Athletic Competition for all age group boys, organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded here today at Sports Ground, University of Jammu.
On the valedictory function, the winners, runner ups and third place holders were awarded with medals. The girls competitions will be start tomorrow at same venue.
In U-14 Long Jump, Vishal Singh of District Rajouri, Naitik Tiwari of District Samba and Ramjeet Singh of District Kathua bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 category, Abhijeet Singh of District Jammu, Datar Singh of District Reasi and Sumit Kumar of District Udhampur clinched first, second and third positions respectively and in U-19 category,
Ritik Singh of District Jammu, Nikhil Singh of District Kathua and
Rahul Sharma of District Rajouri secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 200 meters, Aman Khokhar of District Samba, Munish Pandita of District Jammu and Mohammad Sultan of District Rajouri clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 category, Nikhil Kumar of District Jammu, Goldy Singh of District Samba and Aaryan Sadathia of District Kathua secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 600 meters, Tinku Kumar of District Samba, Mohammad Sultan of District Rajouri and Danish Ali of District Samba bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-19 Javelin Throw, Bhanu Sharma of District Jammu, Arun Sharma of District Udhampur and Vishal of District Samba bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
The matches were officiated by Athletics experts from Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu.
