JAMMU, Sept 14: The Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu, organized Inter-Collegiate Cross Country Championship 2019-20 at University Campus, University of Jammu, here.
23 Colleges in men section and 13 colleges in women section affiliated to the University of Jammu participated in the ChAMPIONSHIP.
In men’s section, Vishal singh of GDC Billawar clinched Gold medal, while Naresh Kumar of GDC Bhaderwah and Malkeet Singh of GDC Sunderbani stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
In women’s section Sangita Devi clinched Gold medal while Anamika Devi of GDC Khour and Radhika sharma of GDC Khour stood 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu distributed the prizes among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion.
The event was officiated by Nirmal Singh (Athletics Coach), Gurcharan Singh, Harsimran Singh (Athletics coach), Ramesh Sharma SAI Coach, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Gagan Kumar, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, SHarinder Pal Singh, PD Singh, Jai Bharat and students of MPEd and BPEd.
