JAMMU, Nov 1: IECS & North Polytechnics, Purkhoo Camp, Domana , Jammu organized Alumni Meet 2016 in which very senior alumni, holding responsible position in various organizations, like Samsung India electronic ltd., LG electronics, Siemens , Louis Berger, Nokia India Pvt. Ltd., etc participated.
These, former students of both the institutes recalled the fine memories of the days spent in the campus and narrated their experiences about the nature of their jobs and what the corporate and industrial sector expects from the students passing out from technical institutions today. An Alumni Club for the two institutions was also formed and it was decided that modern communication system like watsapp and facebook should be utilized to maintain a close contact between the alumni working in different field and different location, ways to involve the alumni and to utilize their services for future placement of the students, presently studying in IECS & North Polytechnic.
Prof. K. G. Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic welcomed the alumni and hoped that such gathering will become a routine annual affair.
The meeting was also addressed by Er. Ajay Jamwal , Dean Administration who gave an overall presentation of both the polytechnics of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions and various activities of training and placement cell.
Th. Shivdev Singh Jamwal Vice-Chairman Jamwal group of educational institution also graced the occasion.
