SRINAGAR, Aug 8: Outplaying ICS Greens by a convincing margin in the summit clash, ICS Reds lifted the title trophy of the Islamia College Inter-Group table tennis tournament, here today.
Earlier, ICS Reds defeated ICS Greens by of (3:1). For ICS Reds Inzimam defeated Amir, Zuhaib defeated Fahad and in the doubles, the pair of Muneez and Zuhaib defeated the duo of Ali and Sabid. For ICS Greens Ali won a consolation game by defeating Burhan.
Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) G M Tibet Bakal was present on the occasion, who in his address assured the students support from the College administration for participating in the sports events which are organized in and outside the College.
He also presented trophies to the winners and the runners-up teams on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the College is organizing Inter-Group Badminton competitions at the Badminton Court from Aug 10, 2015.
The tournaments are being organized by the Department of Physical Education of the College.
