JAMMU, May 21: Humanity Public School, in collaboration with the Directorate of AYUSH, J&K and AYUSH Health & Wellness Centre, organised a Yoga Camp on its premises to promote wellness, discipline and a drug-free lifestyle among students and staff.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of District Nodal Officer Dr Renu Dass and as per the directions of Dr Jyoti, Dr Rosi and Yoga Instructor Pooja Sharma. Principal Gaurav Charak formally welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of yoga in maintaining physical fitness, mental peace and overall well-being.
The camp comprised two interactive sessions. The first session focused on the Common Yoga Protocol, where participants actively performed various yoga asanas and breathing exercises to improve concentration, flexibility and health under expert supervision. The second session highlighted the objectives of the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan”, emphasizing the importance of staying away from drug abuse and adopting a healthy lifestyle.
Students participated with enthusiasm and pledged to incorporate yoga into their daily routine. The programme concluded with a message promoting health, wellness and a drug-free society.
