Hockey J&K organizes Free Ayurvedic Medical Camp for players, coaches

JAMMU, Jan 20: Hockey J&K today organized free Ayurvedic medical camp at KK Hakku Astro turf Hockey Stadium here in collaboration with Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu and J&K Sports Council.
The camp was inaugurated by Rajeev Sharma President Hockey J&K in presence of guest of honour Ashok Singh Jamwal Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Sharma said that during last spell of COVID pandemic, Hockey J&K organized such camps for the benefit of sports community of J&K. This time again Hockey J&K with the support of Government Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu organised camp at KK Hakku Stadium for the players and coaches, he added.
Ashok Singh Jamwal said that Hockey J&K is pioneering in many ways to support the sportspersons and coaches.
Dr Taran Singh Secretary General said that this time Government is all out to help the people to fight the COVID infection. He said that Dr Mohan Singh, Director AYUSH J&K has taken many steps to reach the doorsteps of community to provide instant relieve and has framed many teams for the purpose.
“Dr Vandana Dogra Medical Superintendent Government Ayurvedic Hospital is instrumental in implementing the roadmap of outreach programme of the Director AYUSH”, he added.
Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation gave away the certificate of appreciation to the doctors for their services during the pandemic.
Dr Dheeraj Raina Medical Officer and Incharge Camp and Dr Adnan Dar along with paramedical staff make participants aware about the pandemic and distributed immunity boosting kits to the coaches, players and the staff of the J&K Sports Council.
Around 122 people were benefitted during the camp.
Satpal Singh Chief Coach, Ajay Gupta, Anil Sharma, Gopal Dass and many others were present on the occasion.
