JAMMU, Nov 23: Hiranagar Hockey Club, MBS Simbal Camp and Khalsa Club Gole Gujral registered victories over their rivals in the 3rd Shaheed Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament 2017 at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, here today.
The Tournament is being held under the aegis of Hockey J&K and organized by Kashmir Sikh Sangat.
Earlier, in the 1st match, Hiranagar Hockey Club defeated Ajit Club by 5-2, while in second match, MBS Club, Simbal Camp defeated Sittu Hockey Club by 7-1 and in 3rd match Khalsa Club Gole Gujral drubbed AKS Club Diagana by 4-0.
Sewa Singh, President KSS was the chief guest and Sukhdev Singh was the guest of honour in the first match, while in 2nd match, Prof Inder Singh was the chief guest and Gurjeet Singh, Punjab and Sindh Bank was the guest of honour and in the 3rd match, Manjeet Singh, Regional Manager Punjab and Sindh Bank was the chief guest and KN Singh, X.En was the guest of honour.
In tomorrow’s fixture, 1st semifinal will be played between Hiranagar Club and MBS Club Simbal Camp at 1.30 pm, while the 2nd semifinal will be played between Khalsa Club Gole Gujral and Young Star Simbal Camp at 3 pm.
The Technical team included Karanjit Singh, PP Singh, Joginder Singh, D. Singh Satvir Singh, Gurjit Singh, Gurmeet Kaur, Baljit Kaur, Anjali Thakur and Harvinder Pal Singh.
