JAMMU, Apr 7: Heritage School Jammu celebrated its 10th Founder’s Day with pomp and show, here today.
The celebrations commenced with a special morning assembly in which the school choir enthralled everyone with melodious song.
The achievements of the school were highlighted on the occasion.
The occasion also witnessed the students being awarded with All-Rounder’s Trophy for their scholastic and co-scholastic excellence.
Parents of the winners of prestigious All Rounder’s Trophies in different classes for the session 2013-14 were also invited to grace the occasion.
In his address the Principal, Heritage School, Jagdish Singh Dhami exhorted the students to take up challenges and be sensitive to changes and developments around them so that they always have an edge in this world of stiff competition.
He also elaborated the importance of competitive will to succeed.
A magic show for the tiny tots of kindergarten was the special catch of the day.
The award ceremony came to a close by reverential rendition of the school song.
