HBET organizes scholarship camp

JAMMU, Sept 7: Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust (HBET) today started seven-day scholarship camp with the objective of providing 500 scholarships to needy and deserving children.
Over 80 children attended the scholarship camp on the very first day, today. Man Mohan Wahi, a supporter of HBET was the guest on the occasion.
While speaking Wahi told the students about the benefits of education and advised them to make full use of scholarship and support of the trust. He said HBET has a mission to change the lives of needy children through literacy support programmes and to achieve this trust has been providing scholarships and conducting various other child welfare schemes from past 17 years.
The medical and counseling of the students were also conducted on the occasion to know about their health and interest in study. A total of about 500 children will receive scholarships in the seven-day camp.
