KATHUA, May 6: The pair of Harshleen Kour and Gurleen Kour of DAV Lachipur defeated the duo of Mrigank Sangra and Isha Sharma of Infant Jesus Hiranagar in under-14 girls category of the Inter-School tournament, being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Sports Stadium, here.
In Under-17 girls, Jagasaya and Shivani of Shiva Public School drubbed Shruti of IP School Kathua.
A total of 134 players drawn from various schools took part in under-14 and under-17 boys and girls Chess and Wushu events.
In Wushu under-17 boys, Divjot Singh of Mount Litera School defeated Bharat of Govt Middle School Kalibari to emerge winner, while in under-17 girls, Komal Devi of HSS Keeriyan drubbed Laxmi Devi of Govt Middle School Proper.
