UDHAMPUR, Dec 21: Governor of J&K State, NN Vohra will inaugurate 4th Edition of State level ‘Silver Rolling’ Trophies (Men and Women) for Volleyball at Govt Degree College here tomorrow.
This was disclosed by Dr SK Magotra, Principal of the College while addressing media persons today.
Dr Magotra informed that the prestigious ‘Silver Rolling Trophy’ for State Level Volleyball Championship was instituted in the College by the Hon’ble Governor, NN Vohra himself in 2014 with the aim to promote understanding, brotherhood among the youth of all the three regions viz Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh of the State through sports activities and since then the College has been organizing the championship successfully on annual basis. Every year scores of teams from different colleges from across the state do come and compete to win the championship trophies, he added.
