JAMMU, Feb 23: GD Goenka Public School, Jammu governed by Om Prakash Bansal Charitable Trust, organized the ongoing Annual Edition of Sa Ma Pa Aalap Festival (Sopori Academy of Music and Performing Arts) in collaboration with Department of Tourism, Jammu, J & K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages and Department of Information and Public Relations, here.
The Goenkans witnessed enchanting instrumental music by renowned and eminent Artist, Pandit Satish Vyas. He was accompanied by Mukind Raj Deo on the Tabla.
The audience witnessed a mesmerizing Dogri Folk Song and Dance performance.
The folk dance enthralled the audience.
To felicitate the guests, the Director of the School, Sanya Bansal and the Principal of the School, Dr RP Singh presented mementos, a bouquet of flowers and shawls to the artists and guests.
Star Santoor player, Abhay Rustum Sopori and Sufi Vocalist, Ragini Rainu were also present.
The Principal of the School presented vote of thanks and appreciated the talent.
