Glamorous Club enters finals of Police T20

POONCH, Apr 21: Outplaying Habib Cricket Club by 6 wickets in the semifinal clash, Glamorous Cricket Club, which had earlier qualified for the prestigious Police Martyrs T20 Cup in Jammu today sealed berth in the finals of the ongoing Police T20 Cricket Tournament at Degree College ground, here today.
Batting first, Habib Cricket scored a modest total of 101 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 6 wickets in the process. Shabir Zargar and Akhil scored 28 and 27 runs respectively. For Glamorous Club, Gurvinder Singh was the pick of the bowlers, scalping 4 important wickets by conceding 29 runs in his 4 overs, while Deepak claimed 2 wickets by giving away 28 runs in 4 overs.
In reply, Glamorous Club chased the target in 13 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Gurvinder Singh top scored with 40 runs, while Sharu conmtributed 31 runs to the total.
