HANDWARA, June 23: Giripora Sunrisers emerged winner of the Volleyball Championship, organised by Army (15 RR) at Higher Secondary School Boys Magam, here today.
About eight teams of adjoining areas participated in the championship.
The finals match of the championship was played between Giripora Sunrisers and Magam Tumpora Reds wherein Giripora Sunrisers registered emphatic win over Tumpora Reds by 3-2 sets (25-14, 16-25, 25-21, 24-26 & 25-18) and clinched winning trophy of the championship.
