JAMMU, Nov 21: An annual general meeting of Gymnastics Federation of India (GFI) was conducted at Amar Singh Club, here which was hosted by Gymnastics Association of J&K (GAJK) today.
The meeting was started with the welcome address by president Kiran Wattal and general secretary, Ravinder Singh of GAJK and presided over by Sudhir Mittal, president of the Federation. The meeting was attended by the president, honorary general secretary as well as treasurer of the Federation.
Various decisions were taken during the meeting including development of Gymnastics games in the India and international level particularly preparation of the junior age group for Olympic and World Championships.
Members of 25 States and UTs including Telangana, Rajasthan, HP, Uttarakhand, UP, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Delhi, Karnataka, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Chandigarh, Arunachal Pradesh, Punjab, Bihar, Gujarat, Goa, Maharashtra and others participated.
