JAMMU, June 2: To achieve the objective of e-learning and continuance of teaching learning process over digital platforms propagated by Talat Parvez Rohella, Secretary HED, J&K and under the aegis of Higher Education Department, amid COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Education, Government Degree College Ramgarh organised an Inter-Collegiate Online Quiz competition here today.
The Quiz was based on the topic, “Psychological and Philosophical Foundation of Education”.
A total of 169 students from 30 institutions participated enthusiastically in the event, out of which 97 students who secured 60 percent or more marks were encouraged with e-Certificates after the completion of the event.
Ayushi Sharma of GCW Gandhi Nagar and Tariq Jahangir of Govt MAM College bagged 1st position, while Aijaz Qadir Khandey and Ulfat Hassan, both from Central University of Kashmir clinched 2nd position and the 3rd position was claimed by Pankaj Sharma, University of Jammu and Neeru Kundal of GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
The Quiz was organised by Prof Seema Sharma, Head Department of Education, under the guidance OF Prof Meeru Abrol, Principal GDC Ramgarh.
