JAMMU, Jan 23: Government Degree College (GDC) Rajouri defeated GDC Billawar by 63 runs in an easy contest of the ongoing Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament at Jammu University grounds, here today.
Batting first, GDC Rajouri scored 126 runs for the loss of 2 wicket in the stipulated 15 overs. Sajad Ali top scored with 62 runs, while Tahir contributed 34 runs to the toal. Abrar chipped in with 14 runs. For GDC Billawar, Munish claimed one wicket.
In reply, GDC Billawar managed to score 63 runs to lose the match by 63 runs. Ankit top scored with 25 runs, while Chetan contributed 9 runs to the total. For GDC Rajouri, Asif and Rashid took 2 wickets each, while Gupta, Tahir, Adil and Shezad claimed one wicket each.
The match was officiated by Saleem-ur-Rehman and Vijay Dogra as umpires, while Manu Khajuria was the scorer.
