GCW Parade celebrates Quami Ekta Week

JAMMU, Nov 26: NSS Units of GCW Parade, Jammu celebrated Quami Ekta Week, here.
The week-long celebrations had begun on November 19, 2014.
The Quami Ekta Week was observed under the chairmanship of the Principal of the College, Prof Hemla Aggarwal and guidance of NSS Programme Officer, Prof Richpal Singh and Prof Shivali Gupta.
The week began with the volunteers of NSS going to orphanage, Amphalla and enacting a Nukkar Natak on cleanliness, which was followed by a poster making competition, slogan writing competition and a symposium. The winners of various competitions were facilitated by the chief guest, Mrs Aggarwal.
Sheetal Sharma won the first prize in poster making, Mehak Mahajan in slogan making and Mukeshi won the prize in symposium.
The last day also saw observations of Shram Dhaan and Swachta Abhiyaan.
NSS commanders Shriya, Meenakshi and Suberna organized the event.
