GCW organizes motivational lecture on civil services

JAMMU, Oct 10: Career Counseling, Guidance and Placement Cell, Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur organized motivational lecture cum-counseling for civil services.
DDC Udhampur, Yasha Mudgal (IAS) was the chief guest while Kritika Batra, (IAS), AC (UT) Udhampur was the key resource person.
The programme started with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the dignitaries. At the outset of the programme, principal of the college, Dr Youdhvir Singh presented welcome address.
While addressing Singh said that such type of motivational and inspirational lectures in the college will definitely go a long way in shaping the career of the students.
Both the women IAS officers also delivered extensive lectures and spoke at length about various tools needed for cracking Civil Services examinations. During their interaction with the students they gave various tips for qualifying all the three stages of civil services examinations.
Prominent among others present in this programme included Dr Bhavnaish Chand, Dr Arun Kumar, Prof Ashni Devi, Prof Ravinder Kour, Prof BP Singh and Dr Mool Raj.
The proceeding of the programme was conducted by Dr Ashok Kumar, convener, Career Counseling Cell of the college while vote of thanks was presented by Prof AA Wani.
