JAMMU, May 1: Animals constitute an intrinsic part of human existence. They are the role models of unconditional munificence. The responsibility of their protection and conservation lies on our shoulders. Bringing brightness to these thoughts, the quintessential event of Fauna Fiesta was celebrated by the effervescent students of Grade-3 at the premises of G.D. Goenka Public School Jammu here today.
The event was inaugurated by Principal Arindam Roy Choudhury, Dean Academics and all the Coordinators of the school. The event rooms had transformed into green spaces, forest cover and foliage, waiting to be explored. The students of Class-3 (E) and (D) gave the introduction to animal kingdom, where students showcased different species of animal kingdom.
They also presented on the Circle of Life Cycles, where students elaborated on life cycles of butterfly, frog, snake, octopus, lion and hen and presented on Endangered and Extinct Species. The students presented a thought-provoking role play on these species, urging us to take measures to save animals for future generations.
Sanya Bansal, Director commended the zest and talent of the third graders. Such significant events aid to display the confidence and curiosity of the children. Their performances were applauded by the guests and parents present.
