KATHUA, May 21: Friends XI Nagri registered a big win by 9 wickets over Kharote Cricket Club in the ongoing District Level Cricket Tournament, being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Police Lines ground, here.
Batting first, Kharote Cricket Club scored a modest total of 86 runs in 22 overs. Rakesh and Raman contributed 18 and 10 runs to the total. From Friends XI, Shubham Mehra took 3 wickets, while Vishu Sharma claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Friends XI chased the target in 9.5 overs by losing 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Raghav Sharma scored unbeaten 29 runs, while Pankaj Ladda contributed 19 runs to the total. From Kharote CC, Vikas took the lone wicket to fall.
