JAMMU, Mar 13: Peer Panjal Regional Conference, Diocese of Amritsar, CNI in collaboration with Alexander Memorial Educational Society under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association is going to conduct a Football Tournament from tomorrow to 21st of March at Alexander Memorial School, Jammu.
This tournament is being organized in the sweet memory of Late Rt. Rev. Aziz William who was the father figure of the Jammu Christian Community. He was the well known citizen of Jammu and always involved in encouraging Youth in Education and Sports.
Johnny William, former IGP while addressing the press conference informed about the upcoming tournament.
He informed that 18 teams are participating and the tournament is being organized to encourage and engage youth in sports.
Among others present were Esther William, Principal, Alexander Memorial School, Jammu, Udai Singh, Presbyter Incharge St. Paul’s Church, CNI Jammu, Surinder Singh Bunty, Treasurer, JKFA, Jammu, David Masih, Vice President Feastus Sotra, Organizing Secretary, Yousuf Don, Daniel Bhatti, Camras David, Victor John, Mohan Lal, Bharat Bhushan and team members who will participate in this tournament.
