JAMMU, Jan 6: Fencing teams of University of Jammu (JU) for men and women left for participation in the All India Inter-University Fencing Tournament, which is scheduled to be organized at GNDU Amritsar from January 7 to 10.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director Sports and Physical Education, JU interacted with the team members and wished them successful participation in the tournament. Shotu Lal Sharma was also present on the occasion.
Men’s team: Parvinder Sharma, Gourav Thakur, Parshant Chib, Harsh Singh, Udhayveer Singh Chandel, Siddhant Raina, Lakshay Sharma, Suryansh Sharma and Sawan Magotra.
Women team: Diksha Sharma, Gazal Suri, Jaspreet Kour, Mansi Spolia, Mokshika Rana, Pihul Rajput, Riya Manhas, Anshika Bandral, Vanshika Bandral and Simran Rajput.
Mokshi Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Anthony Mattoo and Padam Dev Singh are accompanying the teams as coaches and managers respectively.
