JAMMU, Dec 24: British International School (BIS), Sainik Colony celebrated its Annual Day programme at Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here today.
General Officer Commanding (GOC) Tiger Division, Major General Gaurav Gautam was chief guest and Hasseb-ul-Rehman, DIG Railway, Principal GMC Jammu, Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Arun Gupta, President Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and former JMC Commissioner, Kiran Wattal were guests of honour on this occasion.
The evening showcased captivating performances, echoing unity in diversity and the academic brilliance of the renowned Cambridge curriculum. Mesmerizing acts, including a vibrant French presentation, an energetic Tandav dance, and insightful Annual Report by school principal presentations, highlighted the prowess of globally-minded institution rooted in the Cambridge curriculum.
Chief Guest Major General Gourav Goutam said parents should not thrust their choices on their children and never interfere in school management. “The International Bonanza served as a platform for the diverse community to celebrate the richness of cultural heritage,” stated Gita Sharma, Chairperson of the school.
