POONCH, Nov 19: Glamorous Cricket Club defeated Jhallian XI by 7 wickets while LoC trounced Rufi Club by 64 runs in the ongoing EHSAAS T20 Cricket Tournament, being organised by EHSAAS Foundation Poonch at Sports Stadium, here today.
Batting first, Jhallian XI made 99 runs by losing all wickets in 19.1 overs. Mukhtar and Hamza contributed 20 and 15 runs respectively. For Glamorous Cricket Club Deepak, Rahul and Parupkar bagged three wickets each.
In reply, Glamorous Cricket Club chased the target in 14.1 overs by losing only five wickets. Rishab and Dr Bhubishan scored 39 and 21 runs respectively. For Jhallian Club Arif took two wickets.
The second match was played between LoC and Rufi Club wherein former trounced later by 64 runs.
Batting first, LoC scored 142 runs by losing 10 wickets in stipulated 20 overs. Ankush and Zaffar scored 38 and 23 runs respectively. For Rufi Club, Shaban and Shoib took three and two wickets respectively.
In reply, Rufi Club bundled out at just 78 runs in 15.1 overs. Rizwan scored 24 runs while Irfan made 14 runs. For LoC, Aquib and Asif took four and two wickets respectively.
The matches were officiated by Rajneesh Maink, Pervaiz Ahmed, Gurmeet Singh and Umran Shah.
Col Harish, Commanding Officer and Molvi Fareed Malik, social activist were the chief guest of the today’s event.
