JAMMU, Nov 21: IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana, organized workshops, extension lectures and industrial visits in which students of various departments took part actively.
Workshop on Computer Networking, which includes basic CCNA, knowledge about Routers, Modems and Cable making for Networking purpose and a seminar on “Java Programming” was conducted by Manish Pathania, Director, IIHT along with team of experts.
Another workshop on “Dot Net Technology and its Applications” was conducted by Atul Kesar, Engineer Microsoft IT Academy and team of experts for the students of computer, IT and Electronics & Communication Engineering Department. A two days workshop on “Auto Cadd and its application was also conducted for the students of Mechanical Engineering Department by Vijay Dutta, Centre Manager, CADD Centre, Jammu along with his team of experts.
Extension lecture on Topic “Instrumentation and PLC” was conducted by Er Ravinder Kumar, M Tech. NITTTR, Chandigarh, Asstt Prof MBS Engineering College for the students of Electrical and Electronics & Communication Department.
Under Industrial-Institute Interface Programme, various industrial visits were also organized for the students of different departments.
