SRINAGAR, May 23: The Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), J&K in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council will be conducting mega Football and Cricket Tournaments at Panchayat Level across the State soon.
According to a handout issued by the DYSS, the teams desirous to take part in these events have been advised to register themselves with their respective District Youth Services and Sports Offices as early as possible.
“The registration has already started from May 20, 2019. The Department is gearing up for making all the requisite arrangements for smooth and successful conduct of the tournaments,” said a concerned officer of DYSS.
The organisers believe that the events will provide a launching pad for thousands of sportspersons to showcase their talent and promote sports in every nook and corner of the State.
