JAMMU, Aug 19: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Zone Akhnoor organized Inter School Tournament in Under 19 boys category.
In Kabaddi final, St Fransis Higher Secondary School Akhnoor defeated Government Higher Secondary School Narrdiwalla by 9 points, whereas in volleyball, Government Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor beat Government Higher Secondary School, Dori Dager by straight 2-0 sets.
In Wrestling, Rakesh Kumar of Government Higher Secondary School, Narrdiwala thrashed Kuldeep Kumar of Government Higher Secondary School Sohal in 68 kg weight category, whereas in 50-55 kg category, Subam Singh of Government Higher Secondary School Akhnoor trounced Gagan Deep of Government Higher Secondary School Sohal.
The tournament is being organized under the supervision of Sher Singh, ZPEO Akhnoor.
