JAMMU, Oct 28: Department of Youth Services and Sports conducted Inter District & Division Level Gymnastic and Yoga Competitions under all age group for boys and girls at different venues here.
About 120 participants of different districts of State took part in the competition. In presence of Conveners and Technical Officials, the competitions were conducted in a smooth and befitted manner.
The main objective of the competition was to select the participants for next level of competitions coming ahead.
In U-14 Gymnastic Boys (Artistic), Badal Kumar, Rijual and Saryansh clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 category, Dhairya, Aryan Sharma and Aatish Gupta bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in U-19 category, Vishal Kumar, Bushan and Vivek claimed first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 Gymnastic Girls (Artistic), Riya, Jeevan Jyot and Mannat clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 category, Yaadavi, Aparna and Sanchi secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 Gymnastic Girls (Rythemic), Muskan, Himani and Jiya clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in U-17 category, Simran, Vimone and Nishta bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in U-19 category, Simran, Vandhana and Niha secured first, second and third positions respectively.
The matches were officiated by panel of experts of Department of YSS of District Jammu.
