POONCH, Sept 9: Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) today started trail-cum-selection matches in the discipline of Taekwondo, Chess and Carrom for All Age Group (AAG) boys of Sarthra Zone at Government High School Sarthra, here.
The selection trail matches were conducted in adherence with SOPs and guidelines, announced by the Government in which nearly 110 students of the Zone participated.
The event was conducted under the supervision of In-charge ZPEO Sathra, Kulwant Singh (PEM) along with technical penal of officials including PEM Narinder Singh, GHS Bandi Chechian; PEM Rajesh Kumar, GHSS Fatehpur for Chess and PET Vikas, GMS Kalani for Carrom, whereas all Taekwondo bouts were held under supervision of PET Rajinder Singh, Black Belt Holder from DYSS and PET Jatinder Paul, GMS Jandrolla.
Other prominent who were present during trail matchers included Narinder Singh (PEM), Manjeet Singh (PEM) Sahil Sharma (PET), Devinder Pal Singh (REK), Khursheed Ahmed (REK) and Vaqar Ahmed (REK).
