JAMMU, Apr 5: The 25th Dr Surinder Singh Memorial Golf Tournament was organized at BSF Golf Course, Paloura, here.
The tournament is an annual feature, organized in the memory of late Dr Surinder Singh, who had served as IG BSF Jammu and is credited for development of the golf course.
Golfers from BSF, J&K Police, State Administration and civilians participated in the tournament.
KK Sharma, DG BSF along with Ram Awtar, IG BSF Jammu inaugurated the tournament.
Golfers were thrilled to play on the lush green course which was recently given a new makeover to make the game more interesting and challenging.
Hardeep Singh, DIG won the overall championship, while Ram Awtar emerged as the runners-up.
Shree Toyota Jammu sponsored the tournament.
Finally, Mr Sharma distributed the prizes among the winners and the runners-up golfers.
