JAMMU, Apr 5: Dr Najam Bhat, Principal Sher-e-Kashmir College of Education, Jammu resident of Mastandara village of Tehsil Surankote, Poonch has been conferred with Honorary Doctorate, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) by the British National University of Queen Mary UK, for his outstanding contribution in the field of higher education.
As per the statement issued here, Dr Bhat has been working as Assistant Prof (Ad-hoc) in Higher Education Department in J&K and served in 15 Government Degree /P.G Colleges in UT of J&K as well as in Ladakh so far.
Dr Bhat has already been awarded with Honorary Doctorate Degree, Doctor of Literature (D.Litt) specialising in Language and Literature by the California Public University USA in the year 2021. He is an author of a book and his five books are ready to publish.
He has also been awarded with five awards on international as well as national level including Best Educationist of the year, Best Lecturer of the year, Best Teacher, Bharat Jyoti Shiksha Rattan and India Prime Quality Education Award.
