JAMMU, Oct 31: To give outlet to energy, talent and creativity of the students, DPS Jammu organized Inter-House Hats-off Show for the students from class IXth to XIIth, here today.
A team of 7 students from each of the 5 Houses took part in the event. Different themes such as seasons, characters, cultures and marriages etc were pre-allotted to the participants. The event saw a beautiful amalgamation of grace, gait, elegance, confidence alongwith literary expression by the narrators selected from each House.
Speaking on the occasion, Ruchi Chabra, Headmistress DPS Jammu remarked that it was a unique way to to appreciate and understand the cultural heritage of India. The event was judged by Harpreet Kaur, Research Scholar and Assistant Professor, MBS College, Jammu.
Jhelum House won the first position, while the second and third place went to Yamuna and Chenab House respectively.
Additional Director/Principal DPS Jammu, Dr D Joseph appreciated the enthusiasm and resourcefulness of the students. She, later-on, distributed prizes among the winners.
