JAMMU, Dec 19: Dogra Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, organized the Annual Sports Meet at Dogra Ground, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The Meet began with the release of colourful balloons by the chief guest in presence of Principal Gambhir Dev Singh Charak. The games were started with the demo Judo-karate and speed ball.
The chief guest in his speech appreciated the efforts made by the organization and stressed that the game must be the part and parcel of the education and co-curricular activities to boost the physical standard and mental ability of the students.
Gambhir Dev Singh Charak in his presidential speech threw light on how the school progressed over the years since its inception. The medals were given to the best students in different events.
