SRINAGAR, Feb 3: District Srinagar Carrom Championship, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Carrom Association concluded at Gindun Stadium, Raj Bagh, here today.
The chief guest and the guests of honour distributed the prizes among the winners and runner-up playrs.
Prominent among other dignitaries present on the valedictory function were Nuzhat Ara, Divisional Sports Officer J&K State Sports Council (K); Prof Bashir Ahmad Shah, Member Sports Council; Rouf Tramboo, Member Sports Council; Bilquis Mir, Member Sports Council, besides SSP Security Masood Ul Zaman, DySP Security Mohd Shafi, SP Traffic Saleem Khan, ASP Nisar Ahmad, Kuldeep Koul, SHO Raj Bagh Police Station Srinagar, Firdous Ahmad, former General Secretary J&K Carrom Association and Mushtaq Zargar Manager Polo Ground Srinagar.
Results: Sub-Junior Boys- Sarfaraz (winner), Rashid (runners-up), Mashkoor (3rd place).
Sub-Junior Girls-Sabreena Firdous (winner), Huzaifa (runners-up), Eman Rouf (3rd Place).
Junior Boys- Waseem Bashir (winner), Fazil Fayaz (runners-up), Danish Bashir (3rd place).
Junior Girls: Qurat Ul Ain (winner), Hadeeka Amin (runners-up), Saira Bashir (3rd place).
Senior Men: Yaqoob (winner), Ajaz Koul (runners-up), Muzaffar Khan (3rd place).
Senior Women: Arsheena Malik (winner), Samiya Nazir (runners-up).
