KUPWARA, Sept 15: In line with the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, District Police Kupwara organized Volleyball Tournament today at District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara, promoting a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among youth.
The final match saw an intense competition between Lolab Volleyball Academy and Drugmulla Volleyball Club, with Lolab Academy emerging victorious in a closely contested game. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from players and spectators, highlighting the growing community engagement in anti-drug initiatives.
The match was graced by DySP DAR Kupwara Gulzar Rashid, who distributed trophies and medals to both teams. He congratulated Lolab Volleyball Academy for their win and appreciated the spirited performance of Drugmulla Volleyball Club.
Gulzar Rashid emphasized the importance of such sports events in channelizing youth energy, promoting discipline, teamwork, and keeping young minds away from drugs. Senior police officers and civil society members were also present, marking the event as a significant step by District Police Kupwara in strengthening community resilience against drug abuse.
