KATHUA, Oct 13: District Roller Skating Championship was organised under the patronage of GS Khurmi, president J&K Roller Skating Association (JKRSA), here today.
In 5-7 year boys category, Dhairya Saini and Ridham Mahajan secured two top medals respectively, while in the same year girls category, Angila Khullar secured Gold medal and in 7-9 years boys, Sarang Vaid and Shreyan Khajuria won Gold & Silver medals respectively and in 7-9 girls category, Anvita secured Gold medal.
In the 9-11 boys group, Sarthak Dubey, Atharv Chalotra and Abhinav Singh clinched top three medals, while in the girls category, Aditi Dogra and Karishma won Gold and Silver medals respectively.
In 11-14 boys, Krishna, Rahul and Hemant bagged top three positions respectively, while Karun Singh, Swastika Verma and Jillmill secured top three medals respectively in girls category.
The event was held under the overall supervision of Kamal Anand and Jatin Sabharwal, Ankush Gupta and Jugraaj Singh acted as observers from JKRSA.
Vinod Kumar (Storekeeper), Rohit Sharma (Hockey coach), Jyoti Naresh (Ground In-charge) and Rattan Lal (Groundman) were present during the event.
