REASI, Oct 16: 15th Reasi District Fencing Championship entered its 2nd day, organised by the District Association in various categories for both boys and girls, here today.
In under-17 foil boys, Aditya Thakur and Bhanu Pratap Singh clinched top two medals, while Shivam Rasyal and Shah Fasil shared bronze medal, whereas in under 20 foil boys, Gourav Thakur and Bharat Dogra secured gold and silver medals respectively and Suresh Kumar and Surya Dev Singh shared bronze medal and in under 17 sabre, two top medals were clinched by Rohit Sharma and Sunil Roy and bronze medal was jointly secured by Devinder Singh and Sushant Sharma, besides in under 20 sabre, Ajay Singh won gold, Rohit Sharma got silver and Sunil Roy and Sumit shared bronze medal.
In senior foil girls, Diksha Sharma & Anshika Bandral bagged gold and silver medals respectively and Roshi and Roshni shared bronze medal.
The bouts were officiated by Kamal Kumar, Rohit Panjgotra, Bhawani Thakur, Dhruva Gupta, Kapish Bali, Parvinder Sharma, Parshant Chib and Vikas Kumar.
